get_theme_mods is returning values that aren't there

I've been working on a custom theme for the past few days, and I made a lot of changes to the customizer.php.

However, when I try to load the wp_customizer settings into a page via get_theme_mod, it is returning the wrong value. Even when I've changed the default value of the setting, it still returns a value which doesn't even exist.

Any ideas how to fix it?
